I’m Kendall Covitz, CEO and Founder of Social Med Consultants, a boutique digital marketing agency dedicated to empowering medical professionals and doctors with customized, results-driven strategies that take their practices to the next level.
What began as a solo venture has flourished into a thriving company powered by 15 team members all in a matter of three years. And we’re not slowing down! SMC is proof that intentional growth, fueled by the right mix of talent, and an unwavering commitment to area expertise, can transform ideas into lasting impact.
I come with over a decade of experience building and scaling businesses leveraging the power of digital marketing. Once a yoga instructor/nutrition coach and early adopter of all things social media, I built and nurtured an engaged following long before the era of “influencer marketing”. I’ve grown and evolved alongside social media both personally and professionally — always staying ahead of trends and paying closel attention to the ways in which audiences connect with content.
Today, I lead a team of specialists who bring passion and precision to every project. Our clients’ success is personal to us — we want to relieve them of the endless burdens that come with managing an online presence and really work with them to achieve their big picture goals. SMC is truly about collaboration and excellence – no egos, just results.
We’re best suited for established practices that are ready to elevate their brand intentionally and strategically – no quick fixes, band-aids, or shiny tactics. We’re looking for a true partnership. We’ll do the heavy lifting but our most successful partners appreciate the value of building a strong foundation, putting in consistent effort, and a willingness to try new things.
I give my clients the same advice I apply to my own business — in order to have balance and be able to focus on the work you actually love doing, you must find and align with teams you can trust implicitly. As a mom and entrepreneur, I’ve designed a life for myself where I can help scale businesses by day and still be fully present for my three children after school. I can take my girls to dance or watch my son play baseball and ALWAYS deliver for my clients. All of this is possible due to SMC’s carefully curated and incredibly talented team who cares as deeply about seeing your business succeed as you do.

Marissa Bailey is a seasoned media and marketing executive with over two decades of expertise in strategic partnerships, business development, content creation, and customer success. She has spearheaded high-impact initiatives that bridge global brands, platforms, and personalities, creating content that engages audiences and drives revenue.
An Emmy-award-winning producer, Marissa has extensive background in creative storytelling, digital content strategy, and integrated marketing making her a sought-after leader in the digital space. Her experience includes senior roles at top-tier media companies such as Viacom, Telepictures, Warner Bros., and Jellysmack, where she excelled in developing, negotiating, and executing collaborations with leading brands such as Walmart, Sephora, and Samsung, as well as major platform partnerships including Spotify, Roku, Meta, YouTube, X, and Amazon.
Marissa’s innovative mindset and dedication to her clients have earned her widespread industry recognition. An active advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion, she holds a Master’s in Media Studies from The New School in New York City and a degree in English from the University of Michigan.

Our story begins with a simple but powerful realization: the immense challenges and pressures faced by individuals and medical businesses striving to expand their online presence. Too often, these professionals are caught in a balancing act—wanting to deliver exceptional service to their patients while trying to maintain an engaging social media.
This insight hit close to home after witnessing the struggles of friends, colleagues, and even my own doctors. Determined to find a solution, I set out to create a way for them to share their expertise with patients effectively—without being tethered to their smartphones 24/7.
I’m Kendall, the founder and CEO of Social Med Consultants, and this mission is personal. With over a decade of experience in content creation and strategic leadership, a degree in Marketing, and a strong entrepreneurial background, I’ve built a career rooted in empowering professionals to achieve their goals through impactful digital marketing.
Known for my goal-driven mindset, organizational skills, and optimism, I specialize in social strategy, copywriting, social SEO, Instagram, Facebook, and video content creation. As a coach, speaker, and event leader, I’ve supported entrepreneurs in refining their branding, growing audiences, and scaling efforts. My experience also includes managing email campaigns for 75,000 subscribers and crafting high-performing, action-driving copy.
